Millstone is a Letcher county community at the mouth of Millstone Creek on the North Fork of the Kentucky River about six miles northeast of Whitesburg. A Craftsville post office opened in 1878, was renamed Millstone in 1918, and closed in 2010. The population of the Millstone census designated place in 2010 was 117.
