Zachariah, Kentucky

Zachariah is a northern Lee county community on KY 11 near the boundary with Wolfe county. The Zachariah post office opened in 1883, closed in 1884, opened in a new location to the south in 1902, moved back to the original location in 1908, closed again in 1918, reopened in 1926, and closed in 1996. The Zoe post office opened at the second Zachariah site in 1915.
