Allensville, Kentucky
Allensville is a Todd county community about seven miles southeast of Elkton. The town was established about 1810 and probably named for a local family. It later became a station on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad.
Allensville was incorporated in 1867 and dissolved in 2017.
The Allensville post office opened in 1819.
The population in 2010, before dissolution, was 157.
