Bandana, Kentucky
Bandana is a Ballard county community about 17 miles northeast of Wickliffe. The area was settled by 1875 and was first known as Skillet. The origins of the names are not clear.
Bandana was incorporated in 1890, but was later dissolved.
The Bandana post office opened in 1880.
The population of the Bandana census designated place in 2020 was 177.
