Becknerville, also known as Haydens Corner, is a Clark county community on the Combs Ferry Road (KY 1923) about three miles west of Winchester. The name Haydens Corner is from Samuel Hayden, an early land owner. The name Becknerville came from Judge Morgan Beckner of Winchester. The Becknerville post office operated from 1884 until 1904.
