Cayce, Kentucky
Cayce is a Fulton county community about eight miles east of Hickman. It was established on the Mobile and Ohio Railroad in the mid-nineteenth century. The name probably comes from local merchant James Hardie Cayce. The Cacey's Station post office opened in 1860, was renamed Cayce Station in 1874, renamed Cayce in 1880, and closed about 1959. The population of the Cayce census designated place in 2010 was 123.
Cayce is said have been the childhood home of railroad engineer John Luther Jones, who became known as Casey Jones, for his home town.
