Center Point, Kentucky
Center Point was a Monroe county community about 12 miles east of Tompkinsville near the Cumberland River. It was said to be named for its location central to Tompkinsville, Burkesville, and Celina (in Tennessee). The Centre Point post office opened in 1835. The spelling was changed to Center Point by the early twentieth century. It closed in 1939.
