Cowcreek, Kentucky

Cowcreek is an Owsley county community about five miles southeast of Booneville at the forks of Cow Creek.

The Cowcreek post office opened in 1900 and closed in 1957.

The population of the Cowcreek census designated place, which covers 69 square miles, the southeastern third of the county, was 690 in 2010.
