Evarts, Kentucky
Evarts is a Harlan county city at the mouth of Yocum Creek on the Clover Fork of the Cumberland River about six miles east of Harlan. It was perhaps named for a local pioneer family.
Evarts was incorporated in 1921.
The Evarts post office opened in 1855.
The population in 2020 was 883.
