Flanagan is a Clark county community on Two Mile Creek about five miles southwest of Winchester. The site was known as Rankins Station on the Kentucky Central Railway.

The Flanagan post office, named for Judge James Flanagan, operated from 1888 until 1906. A Flanagan's Station may have been located nearby on the same line.
