Francisville, Kentucky
Francisville is a Boone county community about five miles north of Burlington. It was established about 1819 and was probably named for a local Francis family.
The Francisville post office opened in 1830 and closed in 1945.
The population of the Francisville census designated place, which covers 8.5 square miles, was 7,944 in 2010.
