Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area

170,000 acres in Lyon and Trigg counties.

Extends from western Kentucky into Tennessee between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. Originally managed by the Tennessee Valley Authority, it is now managed by the USDA Forest Service.
