Lines Mill was a Hart county community about 13 miles northwest of Munfordville on Bacon Creek. The name came from the Line family. Richard P. Line was the first postmaster.

The Line's Mill post office opened in 1889, was renamed Lines Mill in 1894, and closed in 1912.
