Lisletown was a Clark county community on the Athens-Boonesboro Road near the crossing of Lower Howard Creek, about 10 miles south of Winchester. The Lisletown name comes from the family of early settler John Lisle. There were several locations in Clark county that used the name Lisle or Lisletown.
