Mannsville, Kentucky
Mannsville is a Taylor county community about eight miles northeast of Campbellsville on Robinson Creek. It was named for the Mann brothers who settled in the area probably before 1800. It was also known as Manns Lick and Buena Vista. It was an important early town, settled before Campbellsville. Most of the town burned in 1922 and it was almost completely destroyed by a tornado in 1974.
Mannsville was incorporated in 1860, but was later dissolved.
The Mannsville post office opened in 1852.
