Mary Alice, Kentucky

Mary Alice is a Harlan county community on Catron Creek about five miles south of Harlan. It was built by the Mary Alice Coal Company, which was named by its owner for his daughters Mary Jane and Ruth Alice.

The Mary Alice post office opened in 1945.
