McKinneysurg, Kentucky

McKinneysurg was a Pendleton county community on the Licking River about eight miles south of Falmouth. It was named for the local McKinney family (sometimes seen spelled as McKinny and McKenney).

The McKinneysburg post office opened in 1890 and closed in 1929.
