Otter Creek Park, Kentucky
Otter Creek Park was established in Meade county in 1935 when the Federal government purchased about 2,200 acres on the Ohio River at the mouth of Otter Creek, including the town of Rock Haven.
In 1947 the Federal government gave the park to the city of Louisville, which operated it until 2009 when it was transferred to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, which now operates it as the Otter Creek Outer Recreation Area.
