Union, Kentucky
Union is a Boone county city about eight miles south of Burlington. Settlement may have begun before 1800. The Benjamin Piatt Fowler house was built in the northern part of what is now Union in 1817.
Union was incorporated in 1838.
The post office opened in 1830.
The population in 2020 was 7,416 .
