Amba, Kentucky
Amba is an eastern Floyd county community on Mud Creek near the mouth of Toler Creek and about 16 miles southeast of Prestonsburg. It was named for a local resident and is sometimes also called Ambeytown.
The Amba post office opened in 1902 and closed in 1959.
