Black Gnat, Kentucky
Black Gnat, Kentucky

Black Gnat is a Taylor county community about five miles southwest of Campbellsville on the boundary with Green county. It is said to be named for the black gnats that stuck to the sides of a newly painted white schoolhouse sometime in the nineteenth century.

It apparently never had a post office.
