Burna, Kentucky
Burna is a Livingston county town about eight miles northeast of Smithland. Originally known as Tail Holt, it was renamed Burna, for a local girl, to provide a more pleasing name for the new post office. The Burna post office opened in 1906. The population of the Burna census designated place in 2010 was 257.
