Cadentown, Kentucky
Cadentown was a Fayette county community on the eastern edge of Lexington. It was created after the Civil War as a settlement for formerly enslaved people on land that belonged to Owen Caden.
Still standing in Cadentown is the circa 1923 Cadentown School, funded in part by the Rosenwald Fund.
