Cody, Kentucky

Cody was a Knott county city about 10 miles south of Hindman on Carr Fork at the mouth of Breeding Creek. It was inundated by the Carr Creek reservoir in 1976. Cody was incorporated in 1961 and was later dissolved. The Cody post office opened in 1897 and closed in 1972.
