Corn Creek is a Trimble county community on the Ohio River at the mouth of Corn Creek about six miles west of Bedford. Settlement began in the late eighteenth century.

A Corn Creek post office operated nearby at Wises Landing.

The Louisville Gas and Electric Company built its Trimble County Generating Station between Corn Creek and Wises Landing in 1979.
