Dover, Kentucky
Dover, a Mason county town about eight miles northwest of Maysville on the Ohio River, was founded in 1818 and may be named for Dover, England. Dover was incorporated in 1856. The Dover post office opened in 1823. The population in 2010 was 252.
The Dover covered bridge is located just outside of town.
