Doylesville, Kentucky
Doylesville is a Madison county community on Muddy Creek about nine miles northeast of Richmond. The name comes from Pat Doyle, who owned the early nineteenth century store. A number of mills operated in the area from the late eighteenth century and Jackson's ferry crossed the Kentucky River nearby.
The Doylesville post office operated from 1847 to 1930.
