Elliston, Kentucky

Elliston is a Grant county community about 16 miles northwest of Williamstown on Tenmile Creek. It was first known as Eagle Mills, for a local mill built before 1820. Elliston Station opened on the railroad in 1868 and was named for a local family.

The Elliston post office opened in 1870 and closed in 1976.
