Germantown, Kentucky
Germantown is a city on the border of Bracken and Mason counties, between Brooksville and Maysville. The early settlers around 1788 were German, thus the name of the town founded in 1794.
Germantown was incorporated in 1795.
The Germantown post office opened in 1817.
The population in 2010 was 154, with most in the Bracken county side of town.
