Harveyton, Kentucky

Harveyton was a Perry county coal camp on First Creek just north of Hazard and above Blue Diamond. The Harvey Coal Company established the town. The population in 1930 was about 700. It its last years the mines might have been operated by Blue Diamond.

The Staub post office opened in 1916, was renamed Harveyton in 1923, and closed in 1965.
