Hazel, Kentucky
Hazel is a Calloway county city about five miles south of Murray close to the Tennessee state line. It was established in 1890 on the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Saint Louis Railroad. The source of the name is obscure.
Hazel was incorporated in 1911.
The Hazel post office opened in 1890.
The population in 2020 was 394.
