Little Rock, Kentucky
Little Rock, Kentucky

Little Rock is a Bourbon county community located about ten miles east of Paris between Brush Creek and Boone Creek. Originally known as Flat Rock, it was later renamed Little Rock to get a unique name for the post office. The name comes from the abundant local limestone which can be seen in numerous fences and buildings in the area.

The Flat Rock post office operated from 1829 until 1873, when it was moved to nearby Plum. The Littlerock post office operated from 1882 until 1906.
