Maddoxtown, Kentucky
Maddoxtown is a Fayette county community northeast of Lexington on Huffman Mill Pike. It was established in 1871 when Samuel Maddox subdivided part of his farm and sold lots to people who had been enslaved. The name is spelled Mattoxtown on some maps.
