Massac, Kentucky
Massac is a McCracken county community on the Lovelaceville Road about four miles southwest of Paducah. The community is between Massac Creek and its middle fork and the name comes from the creek. The Massack post office opened in 1851 and closed in 1908. Both spellings were used in earlier years. The population of the Massac census designated place in 2010 was 4,505 in an area of 4 square miles.
