Milton, Kentucky
Milton is a Trimble county town on the Ohio River at Tiber Creek about six miles north of Bedford. The origin of the name isn't known.
The town was chartered by Virginia in 1789 and was incorporated in Kentucky in 1846. An adjacent settlement called Kingston was incorporated into Milton in 1872.
The Milton post office opened in 1819.
The population in 2020 was 589.
