Minerva, Kentucky
Minerva is a Mason county community about 13 miles northwest of Maysville. It was settled by the early nineteenth century and is said to be named for Minerva Green, an early settler. Once an economic center, the population reached around 250 in the late nineteenth century.
Minerva was incorporated in 1844 but was later dissolved.
The Minerva post office opened in 1812 and closed in 2017.
