Nebo, Kentucky

Nebo is a Hopkins county city at the head of Rose Creek about five miles northwest of Madisonville. It was named for the biblical Mount Nebo.

Nebo was incorporated in 1861.

The Nebo post office opened in 1840.

The population in 2020 was 208.
