Nonesuch is a southern Woodford county community located at the junction of Fords Mill Road (KY 1965) and the Cummins Ferry Road about 13 miles south of Versailles. There was settlement in the area by the early nineteenth century and the first store was built at the crossroads circa 1870. The origin of the name is obscure. The Nonesuch post office operated from 1890 until 1925.
