Old Pine Grove, Kentucky
Old Pine Grove was a Clark county community at the junction of Lexington Road and Clintonville Road about six miles west of Winchester. It was named for a grove of trees at the site. It was originally known as Pine Grove until New Pine Grove was established on the rail line.
A Pine Grove post office opened or moved to a site near here about 1850 and moved to a new location a few miles southwest after the railroad arrived and a station was opened at what is now called Pine Grove.
