Ramey, Kentucky
Ramey is a Rowan county community on Bluebank Branch about eight miles west of Morehead. It was probably named for John H. Ramey, the first postmaster, or his family. The Ramey post office opened in 1901, moved several times in the vicinity, and closed in 1932.
