Seatonville, Kentucky
Seatonville is a southeastern Jefferson county community on Floyds Fork. Seatonville is now within the merged Louisville-Jefferson County. It was named for George Seaton, an eighteenth century settler.
A Malott post office, named for its first postmaster, operated in the vicinity from 1882 to 1907. The name Seatonville was proposed for the post office, but it was rejected by the Post Office department.
