Sharpsville, Kentucky
Sharpsville was a Washington county community about 13 miles northeast of Springfield on the Chaplin River. It was also known as Dog Trot and Sharp's Mill before Sharpsville. The name comes from the local Sharp family.
The Sharpsville post office opened in 1858 and closed in 1907.
