Smithfield, Kentucky
Smithfield is a Henry county about six miles southwest of Smithfield. It was named for Thomas Smith, local merchant and president of the Louisville and Frankfort Railroad. Smithfield was incorporated in 1870. The Smithfield post office opened in 1851. The population in 2010 was 106.
