Summersville, Kentucky
Summersville is a Green county community about six miles northwest of Greensburg. The town was laid out in 1817 and probably named for a local Summers family.
Summersville was incorporated in 1839, but was later dissolved.
The Summersville post office opened circa 1828.
The population of the Summersville census designated place in 2010 was 568.
