White Mills, Kentucky
White Mills is a Hardin county community on the Nolin River about 15 miles southwest of Elizabethtown. There were mills by the early nineteenth century, but the source of the name isn't known. It later became a resort area and hotels and other commercial buildings were erected.
The White Mills post office opened in 1866.
