Worthville, Kentucky
Worthville is a southern Carroll county town on Eagle Creek. It was settled early in the nineteenth century and was originally known as Coonskin. The community came to be known as Worthville, to honor General William Worth. Worthville was incorporated in 1878. The Worthville post office opened in 1847. The population in 2010 was 185.
