Yosemite, Kentucky
Yosemite is a Casey county community about five miles northeast of Liberty on Knob Lick Creek near the Green River. The name comes from the place in California. Once an active timber town, it was at the end of the Cincinnati and Green River Railway which connected it to Kings Mountain. The C&GR operated in the area from 1886 to 1896.
Yosemite was incorporated in 1886 but was later dissolved.
The Yosemite post office opened in 1883 and closed in 2011.
