Carmack, Kentucky
Carmack was a Lyon county community about five miles south of Eddyville. It was originally known as Pottertown or Potter Town and was later named for nearby Carmack Creek. It is now in the Land Between the Lakes and at least some of the area has been inundated by Lake Barkley.
The Carmack post office opened in 1890 and closed in 1912.
