Longlick, Kentucky
Longlick was a Scott county community about eight miles northwest of Georgetown on the Longlick Branch of Lytles Fork of Eagle Creek. The Longlick name comes from a nearby salt lick that was frequented by bison.
A Long Lick post office opened in 1828, was renamed Longlick in 1895, and closed in 1902.
