Nepton, Kentucky
Nepton is in Fleming county about six miles west of Flemingsburg, where the railroad crosses Johnson Creek northeast of Ewing. It was established as Elizaville Station, for nearby Elizaville, on the Maysville and Lexington Railroad. The post office and community were named Nepton for the station agent's daughter Penelope.
Nepton was incorporated in 1886, but was later dissolved.
The Nepton post office operated from 1881 to 1958.
